Support the 2022 March for Meals!

Help CVCOA celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Senior Nutrition Programs by giving during our March for Meals Campaign - Donate $50 in honor of this milestone or choose an amount that fits your budget!

CVCOA partners with nutrition programs throughout Central Vermont to provide home-delivered, congregate, and grab-and-go meals to older adults in the community. Your support is integral to ensuring that older adults receive the nutrition needed for healthy and independent aging. Read a story about one of our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer drivers for Meals on Wheels in the CVCOA FY21 Impact Report.

Since 1972, the national Senior Nutrition Program has supported nutrition services for older adults across the country. Funded by the Older Americans Act (OAA), local senior nutrition programs serve as hubs for older adults to access nutritious meals and other vital services that strengthen social connections and promote health and wellbeing. ACL has chosen "Celebrate. Innovate. Educate." as the theme for the Senior Nutrition Program's 50th anniversary. With this theme, we celebrate the many accomplishments of the national and local programs; we acknowledge innovative approaches used to support seniors; and we look at how education can help communities understand and use nutrition services.

Please join us in celebrating this milestone by promoting the anniversary, the program, and the impact of nutrition services this March and beyond.
